We believe if every American who is concerned (panicked) by what is currently happening in state and federal government steps up and does something, it will be an avalanche of civic involvement not seen in decades. Voting is no longer enough!

It is our country and our government, it’s time the true Patriots who understand the dream of our Founding Fathers took control back from the 1% before we won’t be able to.

You don’t have to do everything on this list, but please try them and find out what works for you and keep at it!

Our representatives need to know what’s important to us. They, in theory, act for us.

    1. Find our what our representatives are up to. One great resource is the grassroots publication created by Melinda Merkel Iyer — the Arizona Weekly Legislative Update. This online publication explains upcoming bills and tracks them through the sausage grinder that is our state legislature. Armed with this knowledge you can use the state’s Request to Speak (RTS) system to make your position known.
    2. Use the RTS system! Once you do it a few times it is easy. And it works! For a complete guide to the RTS system including how to get started please look over the RTS guide created in-part by another inspiring group: Civic Engagement Beyond Voting.
